A 19thc Adjustable Steamer Chair

Description

A patent late 19thc steel framed adjustable steamer chair. (Possibly a campaign chair).The steel frame white painted with brass fittings and castors.The adjustable back is caned and the whole will fold down to horizontal at which stage a support leg frame for the back come into use. The seat is webbed and has been recovered in hessian as have the arms. The whole chair will fold up for storage purposes.

The arms are 70 cm wide

Between the arms measures 54cm

Height of seat when set as a chair 36cms

height of back when set as a chair 105 cms
