Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The set has two carver chairs and four singles, the seats and backs are covered in heavy quality Brown Hide and the backs of the seats are studded with large brass studs.
Most of the leather is original but the arms of the carver chairs has been renewed, the brown leather is a close if not exact match, the chairs do have a delightfully shabby look
The chairs are in good sound condition with the expected dings
The chairs are 38” high at the back, 19” across the front and seats are 19” high, the carver is 22” across the front
