Here we have a wonderful Late 19th centuary Walnut desk chair with great railway interest. As you can see the chair has fantastic colour and patina. The original yolk leather back is in place and now wonderfully worn. The chair is of exceptional quality. The arm supports are wonderfully turned with the back supports shaped and reeded. There are perfectly executed front cabriole legs with a crinoline stretcher and turned supports to the rear of the stretcher. The seat is dished and saddled making for a very comfortable seat. There is a brass placque to the rear of the seat with a great railway connection which reads ' Presented to Mr J Lisle by the L & N W Ry goods staff Walsall February 1903. A beautiful desk cahir in fantastic condition ready for your home.
