Antique Late Victorian Carved and Gilded Salon Chair

Description

This is a very good quality frame with double cane work to the seat sides and back and very well carved detail. The gilding is in good condition and there are no breaks to the frame. There is a tiny area of damage to the seat as shown on photograph 5 where a few strands of cane have broken where they meet but this does not comprimise the structural integrity of the chair.
