Antique Set of Six Chippendale Style Victorian Mahogany Dining Chairs

Description

This late Victorian set of dining chairs are in solid mahogany and all the joints are firm. They have their original polish with the occasional blemish and mark to be expected with over 120 years of use. The seats are reuholstered in cream and ochre geometric pattern tapestry. Ther chairs are inlaid with satinwood and the carved details to the backs are of high quality. They are on cabriole legs which also have inlay to the tops. The chairs are a substantial weight which one would expect with items of this quality.
