Here we have a wonderful and rare early Victorian turners armchair c1840. The chair made from Oak has super colour and patina. This high quality chair as you would imagine has beautiful turnings throughout.. There is a chipped carved top rail and winged supports. There are bobbin turned arms again exquisitely executed. The typical triangular seat is surrounded by ring turned supports which are replicated on the stretchers legs and supports. The chair may not look it but is extremely comfotable and a fantastic example of its type. A fantastic chair in superb retail condition ready for your home.
