The Antique Partnership has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Although damaged through the years these are still serviceable and the frames are not loose. The seats are split on 2 chairs and one has a chunk missing but the legs and backs are good with only one streacher replaced. There is evidence of long dead woodworm but the charm and character of these chairs together with their warm colour surpass any evident battle scars.

The seats measure 16 1/2 inches wide by 14 deep and are 17 inches from the ground (so not low). the back measure 33 1/2 inches tall maximum.
