Set of 8 Mahogany Dining Chairs Circa 1840

Description

This fine set of mahogany dining chairs were made around 1840 using top quality timber , hence the weight of each individual chair.

They have recently been upholstered using a very expensive 'Liberty type' fabric , with muted colours. This work was obviously professionally done as the workmanship is superb.

There is slight damage to one chair , having a small crack along the back bar. This is barely noticeable and would have happened many years ago.

For a set of dining chairs that are over 170 years old, they are in in remarkable condition and stand firm and strong.
