Mansion House Antiques & Fine Art has dated this piece to the 1900s.
Looks fabulous in the flesh at close hand.

The leather seating and back are a little darker and with no obvious patches showing to the eye,as seen when using a flash.
The arms are unusually turned to meet a perfectly rounded solid oak ball at the front of the chair.

CONDITION
Solid and firm to sit on,being both comfortable and a solid support for your back, with a row of turned polished oak finials across the back lower rail
An heavy chair to move about, having been extremely well made, but certainly comfortable and attractive piece of furniture to the descerning eye

Most of all,the chair is just full of charactor and nicely worn,it has a personality of its own.
Perfect to pull up to a kneehole desk or for use with a dropdown lidded bureaux.
