17th Century oak wainscot chair of superb colour and patina with nicely carved panel and top rail,well shaped arms and good turned legs with scratch moulded rails. one board of seat replaced some time ago with period timber. Although this chair has lost a little hight it has never been a tall chair, the back legs are now supported by two minnie turned balls to balance the chair. seat hight 15''
