Description

Arts & Crafts antique walnut armchair known as a Peddle armchair, designed by E.W. Godwin.

A super quality solid antique walnut armchair, with an impressed kite mark registration mark to the back rail.

Made in 1881, designed by E.W.Godwin and made James Peddle.

The upholstery has been taken back to the original calico upholstery, ready for a new top fabric.

This antique armchair is listed in the book 'The Secular Furniture of E.W.Godwin' on page 131.

Dimensions: 82cm high x 47cm wide x 48cm deep. Seat: 45cm high.
