Steve Sly Japanese Works of Art has dated this piece to the 1800s.
We have left it as we found it in a slightly worn used condition that shows it in its best light ,just a brief insight is that one of the casters has sat on the same floor for so many years it has gone flat at the bottom ? , it could stand a light restore but we prefer it as it is.
