Victorian Antique Upholstered Armchair by Gillows

Description

Quality Antique Armchair by Gillows of Lancaster.

A well designed and comfortable antique upholstered armchair made in solid walnut and finished in the period ebony finish.

Very well made quality throughout, the original brass castors bear the 'Copes' patent, the best makers of metal ware in the Victorian period.

This Gillows antique armchair is currently upholstered in a clean and deep buttoned fabric which dates form the 1960/70's.

The armchair is stamped 'Gillows 13586' and is in very good, strong condition.

English. Circa: 1875.

Dimensions: 84cm high x 68cm wide x 79 cm deep. Seat: 35cm high x 49cm deep.
