Antique Pair Victorian Art Nouveau Mahogany Tub Chairs C1890 Wemd7/30.8

Description

Antique victorian art nouveau mahogany tub chairs which are a very near pair and upholstered as a matching pair. The difference is in the carving to the central back supports and to the arms, where one chair has reeded arms the other chair has incised carving to the arms. They both have nicely curved upholstered back rests and with deep padded stuff over seats covered in a dusky pink velvet fabric in good condition and standing on turned legs with white pot castors.

Each chair measures: 23" high X seat height 14" X 27" deep X 26" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
