London City Antiques has dated these Edwardian Mahogany Display Cabinets to the 1900s.
The single glazed doors feature a distinctive geometric astragal design with intersecting diagonal glazing bars, creating an elegant and unusual decorative effect.

The doors open to reveal three display shelves, providing generous space for displaying porcelain, glassware, silver, collectables or other treasured objects. The shelves have fabric-lined surfaces, while the mahogany interiors provide an attractive backdrop for displayed items.

The cabinets are further enhanced by fine string inlay to the door surrounds and upright supports, standing on elegant shaped cabriole legs with pad feet.
A particularly handsome and desirable matching pair of antique mahogany display cabinets, offering both practicality and decorative appeal. Their elegant proportions and refined design make them ideal for use in a living room, dining room, hallway or study, complementing both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Condition Report
Very good antique condition with minor age-related wear consistent with age and use. The mahogany has a lovely rich colour and attractive patina, retaining its original antique character. The glazed doors and interiors present well, and both cabinets are handsome examples of quality Edwardian furniture.
