Victorian Rosewood Writing Slope

19th century
Description

19th century victorian writing slope. Vacant cartouche to the top. The box opens to reveal a green leather covered slope. The leather is complete though has some signs of wear and use. The front has sections for two ink bottles and for pens and pencils etc.

Each half of the leather covers lift to reveal ample storage for paper, envelopes etc. The boix has the bonus of a working key to lock the box when not in use.

Overall a super box in good condition for age.
