The slender uprights are adorned with fluted decoration and floral rosettes, while the generously upholstered seats are raised on finely fluted, tapering front legs and gently swept rear legs.
The chairs retain their attractive gilt finish, with a softly aged patina, and have been traditionally reupholstered in a charming blue-and-white 19th-century toile fabric depicting birds, flowers and foliage.
