Description

This Victorian cribbage board box which dates from the late 19th century is made of English oak with brass studded fittings and is in the shape of a horseshoe.

A brass crib board is fitted to the top of the box along with ornate brass decoration with three playing cards - four of hearts, five of clubs and four of diamonds.

This charming box has a pull out drawer which has a brass stirrup handle so you can store your crib pegs and playing cards inside.

A very nice antique games box that comes with four crib pegs. Would make a wonderful gift for a card enthusiast.

Material: Oak. Brass.

Date: c1890.

Dimensions: Width: 14.5 cm (5 3/4"). Depth: 17 cm (6 3/4"). Height: 5.5 cm (2 1/4").

Weight: 406 g.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light wear and marks. Crib markers are included. Please see pictures.
