Description

Early 20th century oak and leather rocking chair circa 1910.

We are pleased to offer this unusual rocking chair made in oak and black leather button back seat cushions.

Very much in the plantation style with it's wide splayed arms, exposed substantial wooden framework.  can recline to various levels with the support of the removable brass rod.  original seat springs and smooth rocking movement.  leather cushions are removable and original to the piece.

Minor surface marks to woodwork.  expected wear and fading to leather but plenty of life left in them for everyday use.
