Exhibit Antiques has dated this Georgian Rib Moulded Glass to the 1750s.
An 18th-century bonnet glass with a rib moulded Ogee bowl. A rudimentary stem with a conical foot and snapped pontil. A fine example.
Rib moulding is rare on a bonnet glass, the first we have had in 2 years. Th vast majority being diamond or honeycomb moulded.
Date & Origin
England, c1780. Period of King George III.
Condition
Excellent. No chips, cracks or restoration.
