A well‑carved Chippendale Revival mahogany corner chair with interlaced scrollwork and foliate detail to the back, cabriole legs and bold claw‑and‑ball feet. The mahogany has a warm, rich polish, and the drop‑in leather seat is finished with neat brass studs. Compact, characterful and decorative — a fine late‑19th/early‑20th‑century example.
