Good Quality Mahogany Grandfather Longcase Clock with 8 Day Movement by John Tucker of Portsmouth. Pre 1776-1795.

Brass Bound Lead Weights

Solid mahogany case of typical Georgian Elegance with long trunk door, dentil design to the hood and inlaid columns. It also has a lock to both the hood and trunk doors with a working key. All raised on bracket feet. Height 83.65 or 112.5cm

The clock notes the Hours on a Crisp Clear Bell but also benefits from a Strike - Silent Lever.

The quality brass dial with silvered chapter ring, strike/silent dial and seconds dial which has a "compass" star design. Fine quality Gilt Spandrels.

Movement Checked, Serviced & Tested to be in Good & Full Working Order.
