Georgian Long Case Clock Circa 1775

Description

A good and fine quality Georgian long case Clock. The twin train movement of 8 day duration with an arched brass dial signed Sam Burfield Arundel, over a strike or nonstrike lever, the chapter ring with Arabic and Roman numerals subsidiary second dial and a Calendar aperture all in good working condition having recently been overhauled.

The figured mahogany case is in excellent condition, with a fine patina a rare survivor of 250 years.

This well cared for Clock is of good size 227cm and would fit into a modern or period Home.
