George III Sterling Silver Patch Pill Pyx Box London C1790’s Maker Rc

An Antique GEORGE III Sterling Silver Georgian PATCH PILL or PYX Box which is hallmarked with the makers mark of RC, possibly RICHARD CROSSLEY? Dating from the 1790’s. No date stamp.
 
Cylindrical form with initials engraved to the base and pull off top.
 
Measuring 3 cm diameter x 1.8 high cm and weighing 15.9 grams.
 
In very good antique condition, makers mark, lion passant and George iii head are present, no date stamp but that’s not unusual for the period. Small dings, scratches & marks & usual small signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
 
A very nice period piece
