A fabulous set of eight Victorian dining chairs by Gillows, crafted with elegant mahogany frames and retaining their original quality and character. Each chair features a linen-upholstered button-back and seat, providing both exceptional comfort and timeless style.

The chairs are stamped "Gillow" to the underside, confirming their prestigious maker. They stand on finely turned legs fitted with brass Collinson caps and castors, a hallmark of quality Victorian craftsmanship.

Gillows of Lancaster and London, established in around 1730, was an English furniture making company based in Lancaster and also London, it continued under this name until 1903 when it became Waring & Gillow after merging with Warings of Liverpool. Gillows of Lancaster and Waring & Gillow both had a very good reputation and are renowned for producing fine quality pieces of furniture.
