Six 19thc elm dish seat country chairs attributed to East Anglia.

These chairs have a single turned cross splat as the back support & have turned front legs.

These chairs would have been found in farmhouses & cottages in provincial areas.

Reference: very similar models seen in 'The English Regional Chair' by Bernard D. Cotton page: 234.
