Set of Four 19th Century French Giltwood Armchairs

A Set of Four 19th Century French Giltwood Armchairs.

These armchairs are gilded throughout and stand on turned and carved legs with toupie feet. The show frame on the back and the front seat rails are both carved with a repeating guilloche design, the legs are fluted and have additional leaf carving where they join the front rail. There are also carved floral paterae on the blocks at this point.

The chairs stripped to an under finish, ready for the client's choice of final covering.
