This is a lovely item ,An unusual late Victorian portable tool cabinet constructed in solid pitch pine and retaining its original cast iron carrying handles, butterfly hinges and castors.

Designed for a joiner or carpenter, the cabinet opens to reveal a fitted interior with racks, shelves and compartments for the organised storage of woodworking tools. The interior currently houses an assortment of traditional hand tools including saws, chisels, braces and planes, illustrating the cabinet's original purpose as a compact travelling workshop.

Equally suited to practical use, display, or as a decorative interior piece.
