VICTORIAN ANTIQUE HOWARD & SONS ARMCHAIR.

This original, 19th century antique armchair is made the famous Howard and Sons Ltd of Berner Street, London.

Featuring a tub shape with the original feather filled squab seat cushion and tapering,mahogany legs which all have the period brass castors, which are stamped as is the mahogany leg.

This unusual and rare model of a Howard & Sons antique chair is covered in the original Howard & Sons backing fabric.

The chair frame and all the original horsehair stuffing are in very good, strong order.

Ready to be re-uopholstered in a fabric of your choice.

English. Circa: 1870.

Dimensions: 74cm high x 78cm wide x 75cm deep. seat: 41cm high.
