Aesthetic Movement Ebonised Upholstered Chair

A small and nicely shaped late Victorian aesthetic movement upholstered chair, with ebonised turned wooden legs and back supports with gilt highlights. The seat and backrest are newly upholstered in a blue fabric with a simple diamond pattern, finished with a gold braid.

An attractive and shapely chair, whose small proportions would make it ideal for a bedroom or hallway.

Condition: There is minor wear to the ebonised finish and a few small chips and scratches - please see the photos. The seat and backrest have been recently recovered so are in very good condition.
