A very rare and fine 19th Century French marble and bronze garniture clock set of exceptional quality, well cast with stunning patination, fully restored, polished and in full working order, all supported on striking moulded Marquina Black marble bases. This rare set comprises of a central clock with a gorgeous pair of matching six branch candelabra held aloft by a pair of beautifully modelled and finely cast pair of putti, all are exquisitely decorated with elaborately detailed Neoclassical motif detail throughout comprising of richly scrolling foliate arms and flower motif detail. The finely cast clock is surmounted with a Neoclassical finial and foliate motifs raised over a dial of circular form housed in a glass case framed within beaded row detailing and features twelve time keeping roman numerals in black against white ground.
