A striking antique French giltwood vitrine display cabinet, dating from around 1920.
 
This elegant giltwood display cabinet is beautifully crafted in the Louis XV style, featuring a shaped glazed door framed by richly carved gilt decoration. The cabinet stands on graceful cabriole legs with scrolling acanthus carving, typical of French Rococo inspired furniture.
 
The lower panels are decorated with charming painted romantic scenes, adding character and decorative appeal to the piece. The cabinet opens to reveal a mirrored interior, making it ideal for showcasing porcelain, glassware, collectables or decorative antiques.
