HiI have for sale a 1880s French striking and repeating carriage clock made in France with the original silvered platform and brass winding key.The case and movement have been fully restored the movement has had new springs(2) so it is not often seen for sale in this condition.The CaseThe case is in solid shiny brass and stands 17cm high x 8.5cm wide with a depth of 7.5cm it is in good original condition with mint thick 5mm bevelled sides/front/back door and top viewing glass. The case is very heavy and shiny and very hard to photograph they do not do the clock justice at all.The DialThe dial is in original condition in white porcelain in great condition, with stunning bold Roman numerals.
