Harlequin set of 6 19th century painted dining chairs circa 1860.

Beautiful mixed set of dining chairs which we found on our travels around scandinavia.

We are calling these are harlequin set as they slightly vary in proportions and obviously colour, but have been together as a set for a long time. 3 of the same colour with later black seats, a pair in a lovely muted green and a single chair in a brown/red.

All with the same back rest style and slats, all united by h frame near floor level stretchers. would make a lovely set around that rustic kitchen table.

Obvious losses and fading to paintwork, which is all original bar the 3 black seats as previously mentioned. expected age splits, but structurally strong and ready for everyday use.
