Description

Splendid Regency pair of ebonised and gilt hall / side chairs; of an exuberant high Regency design; the curved top rail with an ornate gilt brass handle above a lion's mask and lyre mounts flanked by large flower head rosettes; above the shaped supports with parcel gilt mouldings. The dished cane seats having unusual side hand rails above a curved front rail with unusual butterfly and anthemium mounts. Raised on eccentric shaped front legs with parcel gilt mouldings terminating in ball feet. With sabre legs to the rear.
