Antique Set of Ten Victorian Joined Carved Oak Jacobean Dining Chairs C1890 W6459/1.6

Description

Superb set ten antique late victorian carved oak dining chairs in the jacobean style and dating from aorund 1890. There are eight chairs and two elbow chairs all of which have deep padded faux leather backrests with carved ears to the top above padded seats again in a quality faux leather and standing on turned and carved bulbous legs on a block foot joined by squared stretchers. All the chairs are of quality oak being hand & peg joined.

The two elbow chairs have solid oak armrests on turned carved supports and measure: 43.5" high X seat height 17.5" X 21" deep X 23.5" deep.

Each chair measures: 39" high X seat height 17" X 19" deep X 18.5" deep

All are in very good condition with a deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the period.
