French Upholstered Window Seat

A late 19thc /early 20thc French mahogany upholstered window seat, of small proportions.

The frame has carved serpentine shaped seat rails with a shell design motif on all sides. This shell design is seen on various aspects of the piece. The s-scroll acanthus arm supports lead to carved cabriole legs on a scroll foot.

This is a very attractive piece & would suit most interiors.
