A fine early 20th-century mahogany desk chair, dating from around 1900, showcasing elegant proportions and rich colour throughout. The chair features a shaped top rail above a vertical slatted back, offering both visual lightness and good support. Gracefully curved arms flow into the front supports, complementing the cabriole-style legs and reinforcing the chair’s refined silhouette.

The shaped solid seat displays attractive grain and a warm, well-patinated finish developed through years of use. Sturdy stretchers to the base provide excellent stability, making this chair as practical as it is decorative.
