Early Howard & Sons Armchair C1850

19th century
Description

An early Howard & Sons deep seated country house armchair. Raised on Howards typical turned walnut front legs and splayed rear legs all with the original Cope & Collinson brass casters. The left back leg bearing the numerical serial number.

Structurally in good solid order and retaining the original innards with reworked arms. The seat appears to be a more recent addition.

For upholstery. As with all our upholstered seating we do offer upholstery should you wish.

We can also supply H&S printed cotton.
