A pair of late eighteenth century country side chairs in elm and of chippendale design. The chairs have a camel back top rail with a charming carved scroll, the back splats are elegantly shaped and pierced and the chairs have a solid seat. The chairs have several old repairs and breaks which have all been made good and the chairs are sound, but they are not for those that want antiques to be perfect, this downside is more than compensated for by the fact that the chairs have a stunning untouched patina and colour.
