This exquisite pair of French tub chairs showcases the refined craftsmanship and decorative artistry characteristic of the late 19th to early 20th-century Louis XVI revival. Each chair features a beautifully aged painted finish, delicately worn to reveal hints of underlying gilt, enhancing their authentic antique charm.

The shaped backs and sweeping arms are richly adorned with finely carved floral garlands, ribbon motifs, and foliate details. Hand-woven cane panels wrap seamlessly around the seat, back, and sides, displaying a classic hexagonal pattern with a softly time-worn patina. The generous seat rests on an elegant apron framed with carved banding and a twisted ribbon border.
