French Louis XV Style Gilt Brass Mantel Clock By Samuel Marti

A decorative French 19th century brass gilt antique mantel clock in the Louis XV style with scrolling foliate design throughout and pierced brass sound frets with red silk behind, surmounted with a cherub. The clock has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and a French eight day duration movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.
 
The movement back plate is stamped with the makers name -
