A New Zealand specimen wood box, circa 1880, in the manner of Anton Seuffert or W H Jewell, with original paper label printed in Gothic script for a seemingly unrecorded maker ‘Elan Rees, Maker, Christchurch, New Zealand’.

A circular games table with similar inlays and paper label for ‘E. Rees, Cabinet-Maker, Barbados Street, Christchurch, New Zealand’ sold Christie’s 27th November 2012 £1000.
