French Antique Company has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Stunning early 19th century French gilt leaner mirror.
It dates from around 1800 and came from a beautiful Paris apartment.

It has its original mercury glass. Mercury glass was not made after 1840, it is the glass used for the Palace of Versailles mirrors and gives a reflection and sparkle like no other. It has all its original backboards.
It is the perfect leaner mirror for a living room or even bedroom but would also look magnificent as an overmantel in a high ceilinged room.
