Description

Here we have a rare true set of six George IV Suffolk ball back dining chairs c1820. As you can see the chairs have great colour and patina. There are typical bar top rails housed in side supports with a pair of rails in the back housing the famous Suffolk turned wooden balls. There are crook shaped arms to the carvers of which there are two and dished seats. The front legs are beautifully turned and there are swept squared and tapered rear legs. The dimensions are approx 80 cm high 47 cm wide 50 cm deep.
