HiI have for sale an a1880s French striking and repeating carriage clock made in Francethr clock case has been fully restored the movement has also been fully restored with new springs added and is running strong keeping time and striking correctly with the repeat button on the top all running via the original again restored silvered platform.The Case The case is in solid shiny gilded brass and stands 19cm high x 11cm wide with a depth of 9cm it is in original condition with thick 5mm beveled front/back door and top viewing glass again all in mint condition.The case is very shiny and hard to photograph they do not do the clock justice at all.The case contains bronze panels and one is signed bottom right all stunning work and highighled with silver and brass.The DialThe dial is in mint original condition silvered with Roman numerals ; the clock also retains its original very fine black moon hands.
