HiI have for sale an a1890s French striking and repeating Grand sonnerie carriage clock made in France the clock case has been fully restored the movement has also been fully restored with new springs added and is running strong keeping time and striking correctly with the repeat button on the top all running via the original again restored silvered platform.The Case The case is in solid shiny brass and stands 6.75� high x 3.5� wide with a depth of 3� it is in original condition with thick 5mm beveled front/back door and top viewing glass again all in mint condition.The case is very shiny and hard to photograph they do not do the clock justice at all.At the base is the lever for silent or quarters or grand Sonnerie all working correctly.The DialThe dial is in mint original condition in white porcelain with Roman numerals ; the clock also retains its original very fine black moon hands.
