Wonderful Victorian library chair with rosewood frame in excellent condition. The deep burgundy velvet is button-tufted across the backrest, framed by gracefully rolled arms. The velvet remains in excellent condition, free from tears or blemishes, while the frame displays a warm patina and lustrous depth that speak to its age and quality. The legs at the front are beautifully carved and shaped with gracefully swept rear legs. A perfect companion for quiet moments, whether in a library, study, or fireside corner.
