This antique 19th century treen lignum vitae string box has good colour and patina. It is more unusual than most as it sits on an octagonal base. The lid unscrews for storage of the string. The string would be pulled out from a central hole in the lid.

This string box measures approx 15xm h x 12cm w at the base.
