Baggott & Co. has dated this piece to the Regency era.
Presented in excellent condition with brightly burnished water gilding to the inner rim and balls. Framed with a convex mirror plate.

English, circa 1820
The convex mirror has been used as a design to spread light around the room and bring life to the interior by adding an additional dimension. The late Georgian a Regency periods particularly utilised the design. This is a very good example with well carved detail and presented in good order with bright gilding.
